John Phelps has been involved in the IT business since the age of 15 when he first sub-contracted for Ames Research at Moffett Field NAS.  His career in the IT field has spanned decades and his expertise in the industry spans several disciplines including Network Engineering, Programming, Database Administration, and Systems Operations.

His current focus is application performance over network infrastructure.

John has earned several certifications in his career including Cisco's CCIE (#6242), Novell's CNE & CNI, and Microsoft's MCP & MCT.
